12 LOTUS

Did any of you watched Royston Tan's 881 the other time? The story about two sisters who sang in the Getai (7th Month Ghost Festival) movie? That movie alone had grossed over S$3 million and made it as the top grossing Asian film in Singapore, 2007.

Well the casts of 881 are back this time in 12 Lotus. Left with Mindee Ong, Liu Ling Ling and Qi Yu Wu, they show follows through the sequel in the 80's era through to 90's. The film shows heartbreaking moments about the singer and how the man in her life used and abused her. It is another must watch local Singapore movie, not to be missed.

It will be released nationwide in Singapore from the 14th of August, 2008.
