Girls Can Be Super Heroes
Several nights ago, Lea cried wailing loudly. Thinking something was wrong, I scooped her up and asked her what was the matter. She told me that her wish for being a Superhero is a disappointing fact. I was quite puzzled so I probed further. She relayed to me that Superheroes are all men, and that because she is a girl, her dreams to be one is all lost. Well! What can I say, I then calmed her down and explained that gender does not restrict one to be a Super Hero and there are Super Heroes who happened to be of the opposite sex too. I told her about Wonder Women and Super Girl. I also started to source for women Super Heroes and I was so glad I found this cool Super Girl costume in a wonderful Fancy Dress website! This is super!

If she watches X-Men, there are plenty of female super heroes. Well, perhaps you ban her from watching such movies due to under-age + violence :)
