She Loves Her Chicken Rice


When Lea was sick, she only had bland food like porridge, soupy rice, mee sua and simple dishes. So when she finally get to follow Rae out on Friday while waiting for Rae to finish piano lesson, she asked for her favourite chicken rice. Her current favourite meal had been chicken rice and she would always ask for that when we are out.

So on Friday when I brought her out for dinner, she promptly asked for it and I bought her a plate. It was just nice to see her walloping the whole plate of rice, which she never did before! Most of the time, she can only finish about a little more than half plate but Friday was a different Lea. She cleaned her plate and made sure there was not a grain of rice on it.. She certainly misses her favourite food!

    My kids love chicken rice too. I just let them ate once a while coz' i found it too oily..^^

    Thanks for coming by my blog.
    My little D loves chicken rice too but I noticed that everytime she has chicken she scratches non stop, so I suspect she could be allergic to chicken. It is soooo difficult to stop her from eating it!!

    My son is absolutely crazy over chicken rice too. His taste in food is mostly hawker food like chicken rice, char kuay teow.. but another thing he absolutely loves is curry. He just loves it!

    Anyways, I hope Lea is feeling much better now.. it's always a joy to see kids enjoy eating their food. :)
