I got this FREE!Guess what? Today, I finally got the 881 DVD I've been waiting for! I missed the movie when it was shown on the cinema last month. I was hoping for the DVD price to go down but it hasn't. It remained $21.90 in all the shops I browzed. I gave up waiting, and got the DVD, finaly. The good news was that I received a FREE CD featuring the songs of the show. So I can actually enjoy the songs in my car now. How Grosssssly wonderful, hokkien songs. My first! Ahem..
For those who have not watched it, it's really a recommended show. The show portrays a pair of getai sisters, known as the Papaya Sisters strutting their life out as getai singers. Getai is the same meaning as Ko-tai in our Penang hokkien, in case you were wondering. Getai performance is popular in Singapore and Malaysia during the 7th Month (also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival).

Wah... buy 1 get 1 free ar... so that good ar... the CD was actually their 2nd version of original movie soundtrack... I had already get the DVD too... but too bad no free CD ler...
