Creative Paint Job for Vehicles

I'm amazed at how creative some people paint or design their vehicles. There are lots of advertisements on the buses, taxis and commercial vehicles. Taxis sometimes carries 3D signages which are really unique. Buses have the most ads in their large panels and the largest impacts are the double decker ones as well as the double-length buses. I must remember to take some of these ads to show you the next time i am on the road.

I found some interesting ones but not of Singapore origin. Check these paint jobs! They are really something to talk about.

Angela Ma Art, Abstract Artist in New York

Lazy pair of artist's hands

Rae is attracted to Arts and Crafts.

But she is not very hardworking at it. She wants fast results and will colour, paint with haste. I've taught her some tricks about colouring and about colours. She would leave lots of whites in her colouring because she has a pair of lazy hands..

I shan't use the general word on her totally because her eyes works hard on the tv, her mouth is attracted to Junk food and she has flexible ears that twitches. Not sure where she got it from. And she has a mouth that can blab for hours. BUT she does have lazy hands.

Lately, she's drawn to animal drawings alot. She simply loves to draw cats. This is one of her school project to be pasted on her school art folder. She did a good job actually, with nice bright colours. I hope she will continue to do better in Art in future. Despite her favourite subject, she scored the worst in her report book last year for her final semestral exam, a B for Art. Because she says, she gets tired after all that colouring so she mostly leave them white or incomplete colouring. Yeah.. LAZY HANDS!

Sand Art

Rae enjoys arts and crafts. During the weekends, she would ask to go and do the sand art or similar craftwork at the mall. She had a go at sand art recently. It is quite a common craftwork available usually at a mall or children's workshop.

First, you get to pick our your picture. This is actually an adhesive piece of paper. The shape of the cartoon and text has already been die-cut. All you need is to use a little sharp pick (tooth-pick) to lift the die-cut shape on the top layer. This will reveal a sticky layer (the adhesive layer).

Pour any colour sand over the bottom layer. Brush or tap out the excess sand. Voila! You will then have a shape 'painted' with a colour sand of your choice. (pic above: peeling the layer, and pour colour sand over the adhesive layer)

Do the same with other shapes untill you have peeled off every piece of the yellow top. This will result in a colourful picture of shapes at the base. I am not sure what they do at the end part though. I was expecting them to spray a fixer or something but they didn't.
