Searching High and Low

My Favourite Recipes By Ellice Handy

Does anyone have this book? Do you know where can I get this book or still in stock in some old bookshop?

This one tat I have is a 1960 edition. I am sharing it with Mum in Penang, Sis in Selangor and myself here in Singapore.

It is really old and tatty and I really would like to get a new copy. It was published by MPH Publications, and printed in Singapore. But I cannot get it because the book stores dont have them! Sigh..

Hi, i came across your blog when i was searching for the same original book as well. I don't have many cookbooks but i love collecting the few i have and am sure looking to expand my collection. I believe the MGS Alumni has a short version with some of Ellice Handy's recipes. Not sure if you would want it but i can help if you do. Have a look at it in the website?

Hi Kathy, thank you for the information on Ellice Handy's books. Yes i went to check out the link you gave me. Well if it has Ellice, I'll definitely grab it. I saw the contact there. I do live in the west so I can probably arrange to collect or have it sent to me. How about you. Are you getting it too. I hope they still have stock..

Once again, thank you. and for stopping by my blog.

Hi ! I have the 1990 published copy of Ellice Hnady's book. Its exactly like the original but of course newer . I bought it in 1993 in Sabah. I'm sure u can call up MPH and ask if they ar printing somemore. I can swear by her recipes. My mom had the original one with a hard cover but unfortunately it has met its demise some years ago . Kaput. I love old old old books.

Hello! I have the exact edition of this book, from 1960. It's my mum's and is a family treasure. It's just as tatty as yours, if not more, but that just adds to its value, doesn't it?
