One Last Time, Mummy, Pleeeeeze

My girl has few days before she turns 4 years and she is hooked onto Computer Games. She has been pestering me to let her go on whatever dot com she hears from the Disney Channel's commercials. She can remember the URL address very well and knows much more about dot coms than her granny. I gave granny a call the other day and she wanted to speak to her. When she got on the phone, she babbles away like a pro and told granny about several games on some dot coms that she played on. Of course my dear mom has no idea what she is talking about. She can only ask what kind of new game is that.

She enjoys going to Barney.com and Disney Playhouse. She would paint birthday cakes and decorate it with lots of gummy bears, hearts, and candles. I tried to limit her when it comes to playing on the pc but once she is on the chair, there is no stopping her. Then it will be me trying to tell her 'Last time... last time..' And she also goes 'One Last Time, pleeezz'

See the picture, I took of her when she was begging me 'One Last Time...mummy' and her Pleaeeeeeeez is really long! Do your kids pester to get on the pc too?

My son just turned 4 last April. He taught his granny how to turn on the PC, and play Spider Solitaire when he was 3 yrs old! LOL! So now that he and granny both know how to use the PC, they fight over who gets to use it.. It's hilarious!

But like your daughter, my son loves his Playhouse Disney channel too!

I know it's bad for kids their age to spend alot of time on the PC.. and I'm trying to get him to do more outdoor-sy stuff like play football. I'm scared my younger one will be influenced by him too (although she's just 8 months old)! hehehe..

p/s: Your daughter is really really adorable!!! :)

shemah - wow! your son lagi pandai.. but it's so wonderful that granny and he can share same interests!

dragon - nextt time i ask her to borrow your laptop for games, can?

tammy - games are really addictive. in the current age and era. in our days we played with homemade toys more..or nature inspired once..

zooropa - yes my elder girl also likes WinxClub. she once do a google search on Wings Club.. (she forgot it ends with a 'x' and not a 'gs'), luckily nothing unsavoury came up. I better set some parental control over my pc!
