First Dengue, Now Chikungunya ?

I just read that the latest news about the Chikungunya cases reported just less than an hour ago. Gosh, when dengue was apparent, everyone did all they could to do the 5 minute wipe out mozzie check. But recently the lastest mosquito bourne disease is the Chikungunya. The cluster of affected cases are mainly concentrated in Kranji Way. The recent 5 new cases that had been reported involves mostly foreign workers.

I hope the government will look into their living conditions as foreigners belonging to the construction industry live in poor conditions, and invites such threats with their cluttered and tight space living area. Many of them are also ignorant about hygiene issues too. I really hate to see any more new epidemics spreading in the little red dot here.
