When I was a young child, I used to catch cowboy TV shows because they were my parent's favourite. I was just fascinated by the lovely drawl like those of a Texan or the Southern part of America. And that caught on later in life and the interest and exposure to these shows led me to love Country Music. Country Music Artists like Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks were definitely at the top of my list, compared with what my friends were listening back then, mostly pop songs. I am so glad for technology and internet that I no longer have to source for Country Music Lyrics from music stores or book stores because these are easily available on the internet.

I like Johnny Cash since I was very young - I didn't realise it was a song of Johnny till I heard it on the radio 2 years ago when it was played by my DJ friend. I recognised the song that I forced my dad and my sister to play over and over for me when I was 4-6 years old. I only knew it as a cowboy song then.
umbrella rec - gosh i didn't know johnny cash was a cowboy either.. but lots of cowboys are named Johnnys too.
beside, my favourite singer Jewel is also categorized as country singer and i never knew that!!!
