Chinese New Year is just few days away! I've been busy shopping for those CNY related stuff. I didn't buy any decors since I've got the old ones that I just take them out to display. I only bought the one to be pasted on the rice container and have already filled it up to the brim.. YES! I believe in this stuff!
I also got the Golden Pumpkin and the Gourd (Wu Lou) from the Supermarket. Does anyone know what they are for? I buy them every year and put them on my dining area during Chinese New Year. In Feng Shui practise, the Wu Lou guards against illness and bad energies.

Just drop by to wish you Keong Hee Fatt Chye.
Happy CNY to you & your family. No, I don't buy wu lou and stuff like that. But I think this year it's high time I get something new to paste behind my main door and take down the old one. You know, the one with the "fook" word or "chut yap peng on" on it??
I also bought the golden pumpkin and wu lou too.. FYI, I still have last year's Wu Lou. It dried up by itself.. Gong Xi Fatt Chai to you..
1st time visitor here. Just came over from Ling's blog.I have seen those pumpkins and gourds too but dont know the significance as well. I usually by those chinese couplets for the wall.
