5 year old Blind Girl on Piano

I enjoy sourcing for videos of kids playing the piano. They are a source of inspiration for my seven year old as she loves the piano but not getting enough exposure from watching her peers playing. The symphony orchestras are good but is not really solo piano. Sometimes her school has piano recitals and concerts but the time usually clashes with her dance class.

I saw this video one day when I was watching some young kids playing. This video is about a blind 5 year old girl from Korea who plays the piano so well, she truly has the gift. Watch it and see how good she is.

It's bring tears to my eyes. God has taken something away from her but also gives her something so beautiful. She might not realize what she miss due to her blindness because she already lives in the wonderful world of music.

Amazing! Does your girl ever complain that she has to learn piano and dance? I've just sent Alycia for ballet class and planning to send her for piano class too next year. I wonder how she'll cope.

my eldest, Rae loves her ballet. She didn't like her piano at first because the teacher was too young.. last year I moved her to a professional piano school and she picked up quite fast and starting to love it. I reckon Rae won't take ballet tat far cos now she has to go for double lessons and practise for Royal Academy syllabus. She says she gets tired with all that plus school. So, I'm willing to let her drop ballet and pick up something more funky and fun like jazz or tap. My younger Lea is asking for ballet now..hehehe
